FAULT AND ICBC

You are entitled to compensation for your injury to the degree you are not at fault. For example, if you are 0% at fault for an accident, you are entitled to 100% compensation. If you are 25% at fault, you are entitled to 75% compensation.

Whether you are at fault is an important issue in determining whether we can represent you. If you are only partly at fault, or if you think I.C.B.C. is wrong in how they have assessed fault, we will be pleased to talk with you. We have many cases where we disagree with I.C.B.C. about who is at fault. If you are entirely at fault for the accident then we cannot assist you.
