INJURIES - WHIPLASH

This is the most common effect of a car accident. Whiplash occurs when impact forces act on your spine and musculature from your neck to your tailbone. The effects can be immediate or delayed, and can include stiffness, pain, restricted mobility, headaches, fatigue, nausea, and so on. Such injuries are commonly referred to as soft tissue injuries. Recovery can be prolonged, and in some cases people never recover completely. Age, physical conditioning, and general health all play a part in recovery.
